Watch The Enigmatic Video For The Weeknd’s ‘Nothing Is Lost’
The theme song from the Avatar: The Way of Water soundtrack, “Nothing is Lost (You Give Me Strength),” has a new video thanks to its creator, The Weeknd. The “Nothing Is Lost” video, directed by Quentin Deronzier, shows a brief glimpse of the singer in a blue haze before he dives into a burst of fire and takes viewers through the landscape of Pandora, a moon in the Avatar sequel that looks like Earth. In the video, a fire forces the Navi, a humanoid species from Pandora, into the water. The song was written by The Weeknd and produced by his frequent collaborators Swedish House Mafia, along with composer Simon Franglen, who created the score for the film. The Weeknd is also getting ready for the 2023 premiere of HBO Max’s The Idol. He will play the lead role in the television series he co-created with Reza Fahim and Sam Levinson of Euphoria.
