The Palm Springs International Film Festival is one of the largest film festivals in North America, welcoming more than 130,000 moviegoers annually for its lineup of new and acclaimed international films, along with celebrity appearances, post-screening discussions with filmmakers, nightly receptions and a host of special events.
Over 400 screenings of more than 175 films from 70 countries, all showing on movie screens throughout Palm Springs and Cathedral City.
The Festival presents a majority of the films submitted for the Best Foreign Language Oscar, as well as a huge selection of great new American independent and international features, including thrillers, comedies, dramas, mysteries and documentaries marking their world, North American or U.S. debuts.
