Garth Brooks was one of the honorees at the 43rd Kennedy Center Honors in Washington, DC. Kelly Clarkson performed a soulful rendition of The Dance. The Dance is meaningful to Kelly who said the song helped her through her divorce. During her performance the camera panned to Garth as he was holding back tears.
