Missy Elliot, Justin Timberlake to Receive Honorary Doctorates The Berklee College of Music in Boston will honor Missy Elliot and Justin Timberlake with doctorates at an upcoming commencement ceremony. The honorary doctor of music degrees will be awarded for Timberlake’s and Elliot’s musical achievements as well as their “enduring global impact.” Three-time Tony Award-winning musician Alex Lacamoire will also receive the doctorate honor. Lacamoire graduated from Berklee. The ceremony will happen on May 11th.
