Cookies are an all-time favorite for meAs a child…cookies made a rainy day sunny, a broken bike fixable, and even a hurt tummy feel better! – Chef Andre


1 cup butter, 2 sticks
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 ½ cups oatmeal, chopped in a blender
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1-8oz. bag chocolate chips
2 cups unsalted macadamia nuts, chopped



Preheat oven 350°

In a large bowl, cream together butter, sugar and brown sugar.

Add eggs and vanilla.

In a separate bowl, mix the blended oatmeal with flour. Add salt, baking powder, baking soda, and cinnamon.

Mix all ingredients together.

Add the chocolate chips and macadamia nuts (or nuts of your choice), stir to mix well.

Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet for 12-15 minutes.

Remove from oven, cool for approx. 2 minutes, and transfer to wire rack to cool completely.
