The velvet curtain has officially closed on The Bachelorette this season, as Rachel Lindsay chose Bryan on Monday’s finale on ABC to the surprise of many. You can’t fault Peter for wanting to pursue a relationship with her in the real world once the cameras turned off, before dropping to a knee and asking for marriage. We sometimes get so consumed with the fairy tale adventures, that we fail to forget that the show is filmed within a very short window, sometimes 2 months. And within those 2 months, it starts with 30 contestants and one-on-one time is extremely limited until the group narrows down.
With that being said, it’s time to move forward to Bachelor in Paradise, which kicks off the new season this Monday, August 14th on ABC. Familiar faces will be returning to the beach, one in particular is Vinny “Vinsane” Ventiera, who appeared on The Bachelorette Season #12 (with Jojo) and Bachelor in Paradise Season #3, and now checks in again in a similar situation: single and ready to mingle. The Skam Artist DJ has been touring coast to coast, rocking nightclubs, pool parties and making major market media appearances. His charm is adored my many, including his #1 fan, his Mom who must be smiling ear to ear seeing her son achieving so much success over the last 12 months.

Another member of Bachelor Nation is making headlines as well, it’s James McCoy Taylor, from The Bachelorette Season #12 (with Jojo). James will not be working on his tan in “Bachelor in Paradise” this season, but his recording career is certainly heating up with the release of his new single ‘The Opposite”. The country music singer & songwriter is following his heart in the music industry, and hopeless romantics & old souls will fall in love with his positive messages. Justin Timberlake may have brought “sexy” back, but James is bringing back the genuine class, innocence and direct communication in life that unfortunately is overshadowed by phone screens and people’s perception of “options” in this generation. It’s always a pleasure to talk with him. Click “play” to hear the interview. We talk about his thoughts on The Bachelorette finale, his new country single “The Opposite” and the possibility of a Bachelor Nation Music Tour with Luke Pell, Vinny and himself.
