Anthony grew up in Northern California, close to San Francisco International Airport. His love for radio began at seven years old when he chose a home stereo system over a brand new bicycle as his birthday gift. He began recording songs for his family right away and underground mix tapes for friends during his teens. He bought his first pair of professional turntables at 17 and began mixing vinyl records. He was a nightclub DJ in Oakland during the early 90’s.
He graduated from the California Recording Institute a few years later-recording and producing several songs for local artists.
In Scottsdale, AZ. Anthony worked on the promotions team and as a mix DJ for KPTY 103.9FM in the early 2000’s while attending broadcasting school. Three years later NBC news hired him as a television reporter in Yuma, AZ. Since then he’s worked in news business and is currently the morning anchor at KMIR6 news.
Anthony is happy to be working in radio again. You can hear his show on Mix 100.5FM every Sunday from 10am-3pm
